Eclipse Director Confirmed

I don't know if I'm going to like telling you this... they have confirmed the director of Eclipse, but it's not Chris Weitz. The new man's name is David Slade. Now, I'm not saying Slade's not going to do a good job, to be honest I've never heard of him or his works... you never know, he could be fantastic. But I just hate how they're doing a Harry Potter, by changing the director every movie that comes along! Every director's style is different, and it's noticable when theyre all doing a series of movies... all the movies have a different style.

The reason why they haven't chosen Chris Weitz as the Eclipse director? Because Chris Weitz would still be creating New Moon. And due to the tight schedule, Weitz would not be able to have enough time to prepare for Eclipse. The release date for Eclipse is July 2010.
