Cameron Bright, who will play the vampire from the Volturi, Alec, had been interviewed by a Vancouver newspaper (?) about everything New Moon.
Though Bright's been caught up in all the New Moon attention, he's still aware of the ladies' love for Robert Pattinson. “I say ‘no’ right away, because when they walk up to me, I can sense what they’re going to say,” he says, laughing. “Can you get me Robert Pattinson’s autograph?’ ”
Bright seems to be excited about working with Dakota Fanning (who will play the role of Jane). He'd only met her once at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards two years before.
“She didn’t know who I was, so when I introduce myself and go, ‘Hey, do you remember me?’ she’ll probably say no,” he says, adding he should get to know her quickly on the Vancouver set. “In our first scene, I get to kiss her on the cheek.”
Apparently, even if you have a five minute role in a Twilight Saga movie, you're on the road to instant fame and stardom.
“Does Cameron realize how big he’s going to be?” a neighbour asked Anne, who’s happy her son will be seen in a family movie.
If his profile does rises ridiculously, the actor has a plan to deal with it.
“If I see a girl wearing a T-shirt with my face on it, I’m turning around and walking the other way,” he says, laughing. “I would not be able to keep a straight face. I’ll run out of the mall.”
What are your thoughts, Twilighters?
