Selena Gomez: "I'm single. Definately single!"

Selena Gomez has blasted rumors she’s dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner.

It was claimed that the teen stars had been spending lots of time together while in Vancouver — prompting speculation the pair were romantically involved. (Lautner’s filming Twilight sequel New Moon in the Canadian city; Gomez is shooting the movie adaptation of children’s book Ramona And Beezus).

But Gomez, 16, has spoken out to set the record straight — insisting she’s single, and just good friends with 17-year-old Lautner.

“He’s one of my good friends,” Selena told US TV show Extra. “I’m single. Definitely single.”

However, Gomez admits she does have a little crush on Twilight’s Robert Pattinson.


“It [Twilight] was good. It was really good,” she told reporters at ABC’s press junket for her new Disney Channel movie, Princess Protection Program. “I really liked it.”

“I can totally see the Robert Pattinson thing now,” she added. “That’s for sure.”

Well, as its pretty much been confirmed that Breaking Dawn will be a movie, thanks to Rob Patt, we're all wondering whether its going to be successful. Not doubting the director, whoever that will be, or the actors.. its just Breaking Dawn as a book is massive, and for the movie not to be rushed, its going to have to be split into two movies

Bella's House On Lockdown!

The building that was erected to serve as Bella’s house for New Moon in the Vancouver area is now under 24/7 surveillance, and has a newly erected chain link fence with barbed wire at the top to deter would-be intruders. It looks like they’re taking security very seriously in order to protect the sets till Eclipse films.

MTV takes an interesting look at what Robert Pattinson’s fellow New Moon castmates think about Rob’s fame now, and how he is dealing with it–

“Italy was intense,” Ashley Greene marveled. “We literally all had two bodyguards and drivers, and we couldn’t walk and had to be driven around the set. It was because there were thousands of girls that came in from everywhere in the world to see [Pattinson]. … They would sleep over and stay the night outside our hotel gate. It was nuts.”

“Every second of Rob’s life is watched now,” Kellan Lutz added, saying that Rob has had to adjust some habits to handle the increased scrutiny. “I’m sure he’s careful for everything he’s doing.”

“I’ve talked to Rob about it, and he’s just paranoid all the time now,” Peter Facinelli revealed, admitting that the newfound fame does sometimes become difficult for his onscreen son. “Like, even to go down to the Starbucks, he’s ducking behind cars and does a roll-flip to the coffee shop. Then he gets up, and there’s nobody there — but then the one time that he doesn’t do that, that’s when there’s like 10,000 paparazzi jumping out of the bushes.”

Emma Watson On Rob & Kristen: "There's something going on"

Emma Watson appears to confirm Robert Pattinson's romance with on-screen love interest Kristen Stewart in a new interview.Whilst their Twilight co-stars have dismissed rumours that the pair are a real-life couple, the British actress – who worked with Rob when he played Cedric Diggory in two Harry Potter movies – acknowledges “there's something going on.”She also admits that she's not immune to her pal Rob's obvious charms.

Gushes Emma: “Oh god! He's absolutely hot! He's driving me crazy...But we're just good friends and can be on the phone for hours, because I know that there's something going on between him and Kristen Stewart". And I'm really happy that Rob became so popular on Twilight. He's so gorgeous.”The Rob and Kristen romance gossip has reached frenzied levels this week, following their kiss tease at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.
