BFF Drama: Is Ashley the new Nikki?

Here's the scoop over Ted Casablanca's opinionated the Awful Truth column. Who's Kristen's BFF now?

Eonline scooper dishes...While basically the whole Twilight cast was busy at the MTV Movie Awards cleaning up shop, there were a couple of castmembers noticeably absent. Jackson Rathbone wasn't there because he was doing his music thing, but where was Nikki Reed?


You'd think the self-professed jobless gal would have jumped at the chance to fit the awards show into her schedule.

Unless there were bigger names who didn't want her there. Or maybe Nik just preferred to keep taking the quasi-high road and stay out of the way of Robsten. Even though Ms. Reed claims she and Kristen Stewart are fine, actions (and passive aggressive PR moves) speak louder than words, babes!

Well, it seems like all the Rob-related tension has only been working in Ashley Greene's favor.Even though Ash said she didn't really hang with Kris much in Vancouver, the two got über-close near the end of filming in VBC and over in Italy. You could even see them hanging all over each other onstage when accepting for Best Movie. This is so a turn of events here, people—these two gals never really chilled during the filming of Twilight.

Well, much like the entire cast's bedroom doors, friends rotate on set, too, and right now Nikki is so out and Ashley is so in when it comes to Kristen's fave gal costar.



This means tons of things for Ms. Greene. Tons. Now that she's positioning herself as a bestie with the Twi powerhouse, get ready for tons of goss to start dropping about her.

I wondered too why Nikki seems to be missing in Italy. She said she'll gonna be there just to hang out with the cast (even Kellan too), hmmm...

Twilight Blue tint VS New Moon Gold tint

The New Moon trailer and recently released stills from the movie have revealed that New Moon will not have the same blue tint that Twilight did. I’ve made the image above which roughly approximates the old Twilight look on one half of an image from New Moon and keeps the other side as it will be in the movie.

Six years from the beginning of a revolution...

Six years ago, Stephenie Meyer had a dream. That dream was one in which... two people were having an intense conversation in a meadow in the woods. One of these people was just your average girl. The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire. They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood, and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately.

Needless to say, this dream inspired Meyer's work on the best-seller Twilight. That book turned into four, and is now turning into at least three major motion pictures - all of which are celebrated by millions.

It's lucky for us, Meyer's dream did not flitter away with the breaking of daylight upon her eyes, and she took to penning the experience right away (and, it seems, didn't stop for quite some time).So, happy birthday, Twilight dream! May you live in eternal infamy.

Jacob to be even more buff in Eclipse

People.com has this story of Taylor Lautner, who'll be putting on even more bulk for the third film Eclipse.

"Jacob's character is continually growing throughout the series," Lautner told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night, "so I got about eight weeks off before I go back again for Eclipse and I'm going to be hitting the gym."

Lautner, 17, already beefed up considerably for his role as the shape shifting werewolf Jacob Black in New Moon after brief behind-the-scenes debate over whether the role should be recast. He said he'll be getting bigger and bigger "until the end of the series," but he looks forward to returning to his normal size.

"When we're done with the Twilight films I'll definitely bulk down and just get lean again because I don't want to stay big and bulky."

"It's insane!" costar Ashley Greene said of Lautner's new build. "I was going through my phone and looking at all the pictures, and there's one from the wrap party that we did here after the first one and it's incredible. I was like, 'Taylor, did you see this?' He was like, 'Oh my gosh.' He gained 30 lbs. He's not a little kid anymore."



In recent photos from the New Moon set star Robert Pattinson also showed off some impressively chiseled abs, and costar Kellan Lutz said they were achieved without any airbrushed shadows – in fact, Lutz takes some tongue-in-cheek credit for Pattinson's six-pack.

"I've been training him, I've been training Taylor," he insisted straight-faced, but promised that there's no fitness competition among the men of New Moon – at least on his part. "I'm the tallest one and so I'll stick with that trait."



And, here I thought I have seen enough of Taylor's biceps... :) Good thing he still looks cute.

Robert & Kristen: Are the rumours true?

I've been hearing quite a bit about Rob & Kristen being together as a lovey dovey couple off-screen.. but I ruled it off as rumours. Now... well now I'm not so sure. Here's an article thanks to TwiFans.

X17 photographers were the ONLY ones to catch Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson after a steamy night together, post-MTV Movie Awards!

The Twilight co-stars are DEFINITELY off-screen sweethearts as well, as these exclusive pictures confirm. After the awards show, Rob and Kristen headed to Cecconi's for a bite to eat, and the duo left the trendy eatery around 11pm, and they were followed by a police escort to The Charlie Hotel in West Hollywood (Charlie Chaplin's old house). The lovebirds booked themselves a private chateau, and we didn't see them again until noon, when they emerged from their bungalow, looking like they'd both just rolled out of bed!

Our X17 photographer on the scene tells us exclusively:

"Rob was preoccupied with getting all of his stuff in the car and Kristen was hiding behind her sunglasses, looking a little tired, but waiting to say goodbye. Right before Rob got in the SUV, the couple stood together behind the car door and I'm pretty sure there was a brief kiss!"

Rob was whisked away to LAX in a dark SUV, and Kristen retreated to the bungalow, presumably to catch up on sleep.

Rob and Kristen def seem to be teasing their fans with this are-they-or-aren't-they relationship, but X17online can announce to Twilight fanpires - this relationship is for real!

We know Kristen is reportedly dating Michael Arangano, and Rob has been spotted with Erika Dutra, so what the heck happened?!

Casting for Eclipse is underway

EOnline has this scoop that Casting for the third Twilight movie has begun. There are casting notices for at least three characters in Eclipse.

Director David Slade is looking for someone to play...

Riley "is a handsome, blond, clean-cut college boy who falls victim to Victoria," the notice reads. He's in his early to mid 20s and "plays an integral role in Victoria's attempt to murder Bella Swan."

There are two more members of the Quileute tribe and La Push wolf pack in Eclipse. Like New Moon, they are looking for Native American or First Nations actors to fill the roles.

"Seth Clearwater is a "tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin," the notice reads. "Seth idolizes Jacob."

Seth's big sister is 19-year-old Leah Clearwater and the only female member of La Push: "She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues."

Whoever may play these characters, however small roles they are, they are still poignant to the flow of the story. Will Leah be played by Vanessa Hudgens? I seriously hope not! And who will play our beloved Seth? I hope they choose him right! And Channing Tatum as Riley? I'm not so sure...

Thank you, everybody who voted at the MTV Movie Awards! It was awesome to see Twilight get so much love. Congratulations to Catherine and Rob and Kristen and all of the cast and everyone at Summit and everybody on the crew! You all did an amazing job and you deserve your popcorn!
